The region’s biggest watersports event is Windfest, which is a celebration of wind and water on Poole’s Sandbanks beach; wind & kite-surfing, biking, SUP, wake-boarding, skate-ramps and volleyball. It takes place each year in mid-September and is FREE to attend. Demos and try-outs plus thrilling entertainment and huge parties at night!
If you want to enjoy the action with the sand between your toes then you’ll love our annual Bournemouth Air Festival; the biggest free event of its kind in the UK. Poole-side there’s the Beach Volleyball Festival and the British Beach Polo Championships.
